Kanye West Promises Yeezys Will be Made In USA: ‘It’s Really Important To Bring These Jobs Back To America’

Hip Hop super star and fashion icon Kanye West is pledging to
help boost the United States economy by making sure Yeezy footwear and apparel will
be manufactured in America.

The Yeezy shoe factory, which will now make “injection molded shoes” will be moved to the U.S. within the next few years, West announced in an interview with Beats 1 Radio on Thursday.

“For me, as a founder, it’s really important to bring
these jobs back to America,” the 42-year old rapper said.

In addition to bolstering the U.S. economy, West argued moving production to America will also give him more autonomy over the development of his product and facilitate “rapid prototyping,” allowing him to produce his designs more quickly.

West, whose wife Kim Kardashian worked with the Trump administration to help commute the life sentence of a first-time nonviolent drug offender, said his company will also prioritize employing hiring U.S. workers through prison reform systems.

The announcement of his plans to help make the American economy great again comes just hours before West’s new album Jesus Is King is set to be released.

West also weighed in on what it’s like being a Trump
supporter within the liberal entertainment industry.

“Give me some other examples where someone is saying
what isn’t culturally what you’re supposed to say,” he said in an interview Thursday regarding why he
supports Trump and wears a MAGA hat. “Give me an example where someone is
saying what you’re not supposed to say. You don’t want to say it, do you,

Earlier this month, the iconic rapper warned Democrats who claim Americans should vote based on skin color are imposing “mental slavery.”

“They try to tell me because of my color who I’m supposed to
pick as the president,” the Grammy winning artist exclaimed during his Sunday
Service session in Salt Lake City, where he drew a crowd of 7,000 to 10,000

“I ain’t never made a decision only based on my color,” he
continued. “That’s a form of slavery. Mental slavery.”

American history contradicts the lies the entertainment
industry and the liberal media perpetuate about Republicans, West argued.

“That’s the Republican Party that freed the slaves,” he
said. “People wanna call me a coon ‘cause I chose my right. And we got the
right, right? We got a right to our opinions, right?

A year ago, West made headlines after delivering a
passionate 10-minute monologue in The White House alongside Trump, donning a
red Make America Great Again hat.

“Let’s stop worrying about the future. All we really have is
today,” he declared in the Oval Office. “Trump is on his hero’s journey
right now, and he might not have expected to have a crazy motherfucker like
Kanye West.”

“I love this guy right here,” West declared, before
giving the president a long hug.

In 2018, West lit up the internet after he called the
president his “brother,” said he and Trump both had “dragon energy,” and
declared he would be undeterred in his support of the Republican
commander-in-chief in the face of group think, “mob” mentality.
